To send a new training link, ask your administrator to: go to the Awareness Training tab on the left-hand toolbar, click Send Training, check the box to the left of your name, and click Send Training again. You will receive an email with a new training link.
Sexual Abuse Awareness Training identifies common misconceptions related to child sexual abuse and replaces these misconceptions with facts. When volunteers and staff members learn the facts, they are better equipped to protect children in their care. Awareness Training addresses these topics:
Trainee: All paid staff members and all volunteers who interact with minors
Duration: 9 segments totaling 1 to 1.5 hours, depending upon context selected
Awareness Training is available in various contexts, including training specific to camp and youth sport environments. The Closed Caption version offers subtitles in English, French, Portuguese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, and Thai.

Description: Screening job applicants and volunteers who will work or interact with children is an important responsibility. Effective screening practices limit the possibility that an applicant with inappropriate sexual motives gains access to children through child-serving programs.
