Dear Academy staff,
Thank you for taking the time to participate in this very important Abuse Awareness and Prevention Training. As educators and instructors in the state of Colorado, we are considered Mandatory Reporters. The information in this training will give you a strong foundation designed to address the many misconceptions surrounding child abuse and the ways in which we can all be better prepared to address any suspicions or incidents of abuse. This training will stay with you far beyond your time at TA and while intense at times, will serve as a powerful resource and source of information for you as an individual that works and cares for the well being of young people.
